SIMPLE, FLAT-STYLE MOUNT
Flat-style mounts sit nearly flush to the wall. Some variations allow for a certain degree of tilt, up or down, but not sideways, left , or right.Pros: Sits very flush to the wall if aesthetics are importantCons: Not easy to pull away from wall to connect wiring or peripherals
Articulating mounts
Articulating mounts allow the TV to be pulled out several inches or more, swivel from side to side, and also tilt up and down. Pros: movable, pull out from wall and allow connecting wires or peripheralsCons: Inherently sit out farther from the wall at default position, several inches

Some TV manufacturers offer proprietary, custom-style mounts that may work well with your model. Please contact your manufacturer or place of purchase if you are interested
